    Solar PV Eligibility Criteria

    1. No limit on Income
    2. Where the system is to be installed is:
      • An owner-occupied property.
      • Not commercial property.
      • Not owned by a company or a trust.
      • or is a residential rental property or a holiday dwelling.
    1. In case of a Rental Property
      • Owner has not received more than two rebates for a rental property during the current financial year.
      • A Bonafide residential tenancy agreement is in place.
      • There is no contribution required from the tenant
    1. The value of the property is under $3 million
    2. The property address has not already received a Solar PV or Battery rebate under the Solar Homes Program.
    1. The property address has not had a Solar PV system installed in the last 10 years

    Or

    The property address has not had a Solar PV system installed in the last 5 years and:

      • The system is now faulty and,
      • The existing system fault is not covered by Warranty and,
      • The system is no longer in working condition and has a supporting report from one of our accredited solar PV Installer and,
      • The repairs costs on the system are not a minor repair and exceeds $1,000.00
    1. As an owner-occupier you have received a Solar Homes rebate and/or loan but have moved house. You can apply for another incentive at your new address as an owner-occupier if the property has not received the Solar PV rebates before.

    Hot Water Eligibility Criteria

    1. No limit on Income
    1. Where the system is to be installed is:
      • Is an owner-occupied property.
      • Not commercial property.
      • Not owned by a company or a trust.
      • or is a residential rental property or a holiday dwelling.
    1. In case of a Rental Property
      • Owner has not received more than two rebates for a rental property during the current financial year.
      • A Bonafide residential tenancy agreement is in place.
      • There is no contribution required from the tenant
    1. The value of the property is under $3 million 
    1. The property address has not already received a hot water rebate under the Solar Homes Program.

    OR

    If the property address had received a Battery rebate, the Solahart HEMS Grid Interactive water heaters would be eligible for a grant (PowerStore)

    OR 

    If the property address has a gas water heater that is being decommissioned as part of this grant program, the Solahart HEMS Grid Interactive water heaters would also be eligible for a grant (PowerStore)

    1. The hot water system to be replaced is at least 3 years old from the date of purchase.
    1. Received a Solar Homes rebate and/or loan but have moved house. You can apply for another incentive at your new address as an owner-occupier if the property has not received the Hot Water rebates before
